Dolores O'Riordan: September 6, 1971 - January 15, 2018

Truly saddened to hear of Dolores O'Riordan's passing. She was a captivating singer, stellar lyricist and classic exemplar of melancholic elegance as front woman for the Irish alt-rock band The Cranberries. I had the honor of seeing The Cranberries perform live three times over the years, the first time in 1994 at the Aragon Ballroom and most recently at the Riviera Theatre in 2012.

Always an unpredictable mixture of sweetness, intensity and energized sassiness, O'Riordan was the epitome of charismatic radiance as a performer and an indelible force to be reckoned with as a musician.

May she rest in peace.

May her striking voice and legacy remain eternal.
